Education Book Goes to Press
for BMT Tandem Meetings

The Education Book for the 2006 BMT Tandem Meetings has gone to press.  Eighteen session chairs and speakers have prepared chapters that comprise the Education Book that will be published as a supplement to the January 2006 issue of Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation. 

This will be the second year that an Education Book has been published for the meetings and supported by an education grant from Amgen.

The editor for this year’s Education Book is Claudio Anasetti, MD, chair of the ASBMT Annual Meeting Scientific Program Committee and co-chair of the meeting’s Organizing Committee.  He is division chief of blood and marrow transplant at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa.

In addition to publication as a BBMT supplement, the Education Book will be enclosed with the registration materials that will be received by attendees at the meetings.

"I anticipate a very successful meeting this year with a diverse group of speakers and the publication of a useful journal supplement for the whole BMT community,” Dr. Anasetti said.
