BBMT Eliminates

Annual Printed Index

The annual index of authors and topics, usually printed in the December issue of Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, was not published for the just-concluding year 2007.

BBMT is joining with many other scientific and medical journals that have ceased including an annual print index because readers are now doing most of their literature searches online.  Printed indexes today are rarely consulted. 

The elimination of the index of authors and topics also frees up those pages for additional scientific articles.

Author and topic searches of BBMT can be conducted on the journal’s Web site at www.bbmt.org.
