What can and should the individual BMT clinician do right now?

The Radiation Injury Treatment Network (RITN) currently has a full complement of regional transplant centers that have been participating in training.  The network may be expanded in the future. 

In the meantime, there are several things that the BMT clinician can do:

·         Get involved with your hospital’s emergency preparedness program.

·         Participate in exercises and drills when conducted.  (Your eyes will be opened.)

·         Review and update your existing SOPs for emergencies of all kinds.
