I.T. Summit Will Focus
on Reporting Outcomes of Care
January 18-19, 2008
NMDP Headquarters
Minneapolis, Minnesota
A national conference will help transplant centers comply with new federal law that requires the reporting of allogeneic stem cell transplant outcomes to the Stem Cell Transplant Outcomes Database (SCTOD).
The conference is intended for transplant center information technology personnel, data managers and administrators. Transplant center medical directors also may wish to attend.
Electronic data capture, recording and transmission are essential for submission of information to the SCTOD. Enhanced I.T. solutions can also reduce the burden on transplant centers by implementing “enter once use often” approaches to data management.
Sponsored by ASBMT and the Center for International Blood and Marror Transplant Research (CIBMTR), the I.T. Summit will help transplant program representatives plan for and implement the most cost-effective strategies for interaction with the SCTOD.
