Launch New Investigator Award

A $25,000-per-year award for new investigators has been introduced by ASBMT in cooperation with Protein Design Labs, Inc.  The award will be given at the 2006 BMT Tandem Meetings in February in Honolulu.

The deadline for applications is Dec. 1, 2005.

Funded by a grant from Protein Design Labs, the two-year award encourages clinical and laboratory research by new investigators in the field of blood and marrow transplantation.  Applicants must be a BMT trainee or no further along in a career than the junior faculty level (instructor or assistant professor) and must be an ASBMT member or sponsored by an ASBMT member.
