Major Enhancements Announced
for Job and Fellowship Connections

Significant upgrades have been announced for the Job Connection and the Fellowship Connection that are located on the ASBMT Web site.  Among them is a new “Job Alert” system that sends an e-mail when a new job or fellowship is posted matching particular search criteria.

• The JOB CONNECTION allows you to search for positions, anonymously post a resume, or advertise a job opening.  It includes all categories of BMT and cellular therapy employment:  physicians, investigators, laboratory technicians, nurses and administrators.
  
  
• The FELLOWSHIP CONNECTION enables you to search for, or post information about, available training programs.  Through interactive menus, searches can be narrowed to specific geographic regions, type of fellowship, type of program, type of patients, and other descriptive information.

In addition, the new “Job Alert” system can automatically notify you by e-mail when a new job or fellowship has been posted that matches your search criteria.  This is especially useful for those who are passively, rather than actively, seeking new opportunities.

Other program enhancements allow you to save searches, store jobs in an account, keep notes on job opportunities and communicate with employers using an internal messaging system.
